Syntax

~> dllink <link>

where <link> can be ed2k, sig2dat, torrent or fasttrack

Description

Use this command to download a file of which you know the ed2k-link. these links can for example be found on [sharereactor] or filenexus, or by a search with jigle.

Some browsers append a slash at the end of the link; mldonkey does not care about it.

Use this command also to DownloadBitTorrents.

Example

To add a Fasttrack server:

> dllink ft://||server||192.168.1.1||1234||

To add a Gnutella node:

> dllink gnut://||server||192.168.1.1||1234||

To add a G2 node:

> dllink g2://||server||192.168.1.1||1234||

Notes

I've been having problems (with 2.8.1) downloading torrents from sites such as mininova, that use http redirects. Namely, mldonkey claims to be parsing the inputted url, but never actually adds it. startbt, it turns out, does work :\. Is this a bug?

History

Fasttrack support first appeared in mld-2.5.30.7

Correction: There has been a working Fasttrack implementation since older 2.5.16 releases/branch and in currently Mldonkey Mulus branch too.

G2 node-adding support first appeared in mld-2.5.30.16 (by the time of writing yet to be released)
