Homepage: http://www.gnutella.com/

Gnutella is an OpenSource network with lots of clients.

Features:

The Gnutella protocol is now developed by the GnutellaDeveloperForum. Most of the features were added to the original Gnutella protocol and are not available with older clients.

Gnutella shares a DownloadMesh with Gnutella2.

To enable the Gnutella network in mldonkey, do the command set enable_gnutella true.

See MLdonkeyOptionsExplained for more information on that option.

You will also need to have some Gnutella servers in your serverlist.

Since MLDonkey 2.9.0 the Gnutella support is officially unmaintained and

disabled in MLDonkey ./configure defaults. You can still enable it by

./configure --enable-gnutella but you are on your own getting it to work.
