The Statusbar
The Connected-indicator
The Connected
text in the status bar means that the GUI client is connected to the mlnet daemon. It doesn't mean that the daemon is connected to any other host.
The Connected to-field
This shows to how many servers the daemon is connected to and how many servers it totaly knows of. The last number may vary due to automatic server discovery and removal.
The Downloaded Files-field
This shows how many files are still in the queue and how many are already downloaded but not commited.
These numbers represent the number of files you are currently sharing and the amount of data you have uploaded since the MLDonkey daemon has been started. The number of files is not necessarily the number of files in your share folders; it may be less, if the core hasn't calculated all the md4-hash of all your files. Also keep in mind that you share everything you download, even if it is not finished or commited (i.e. your temp-dir is a shared dir).
The U/D bytes/s-field
This shows
- The number of bytes per second uploading by TCP and UDP together
- The number of bytes per second uploadingby UDP alone (in brackets)
- The number of bytes per second downloading by TCP and UDP together
- The number of bytes per second downloading by UDP alone (in brackets)
This is not totaly reliable because searches, control messages, requests by other clients etc. are included in these numbers.
