Run as user

From MLDonkey
Jump to: navigation, search

Synopsis

The login of the user you want mldonkey to run as, after the ports have been bound (can be used not to run with root priviledges when a port < 1024 is needed; can also be useful for running MLdonkey chrooted). To be precise, the user switching is done just before MLdonkey main loop, so all initializations are done with the previous user rights (user starting MLdonkey, or file owner if suid).
