Syntax

> s SpecialSearchArgs <query>

Description

This command initiates a network search of a given query. It will not display the results of the search, however; use vr command to obtain the list of the results. Also keep in mind that the search is performed asynchronously and may take quite some time.

On the eDonkey network, only currently connected servers are queried. For querying all the servers from the ServerList, use server list command.

It should also be noted that oftentimes, it is more plausible to use ExternalSearchUtilities rather than MLdonkey's integrated search function. It can be more efficient and save some of your memory and network resources.

Example

> s "Bill Gates - Win 98 crash on live TV"
Query 1 Sent to 5

> vr
